An intercom (intercommunication device), talkback or door phone is a stand-alone voice communications system for us within a building or small collection of buildings. Systems come in many different shapes and sizes and with as many different functionalities, but essentially all have the same use.

They allow for quick and easy communication and are particularly effective for communication with an individual that is separated by a barrier.

For private residential applications, PSI has installed a diverse range of intercom systems, ranging from a 1 to 1 audio intercom to the more advanced 1 to 6 audio and video intercom system, both wired and wireless, as well as the new G-Speak cell phone based intercom for up to 4 users.

For general residential complexes and small commercial and industrial business parks, we have installed from the basic Mircom complex intercoms to the more specialized COMB MK11 cell coms SIM embedded access control systems with online and real time reporting functionality.

Reports include gate opening/closing by serial number of remote user and cell data usage per unit. With this type of system one is able to add and remove remote access as well as program remotes off-site for new users.

These systems can hold up to 500 owner/unit numbers and up to 3 cell phone numbers per unit. PSI can install a basic stand-alone 30 user fingerprint reader for access to your private residence, to the more complicated time and attendance biometric systems used in small and medium sized businesses, which link to payroll to provide not only accurate time-stamped access but also the full extent of the employee monthly payroll.
